About the Role

Caring Connections Home Care is in need of LIVE-IN Certified Home Health Aides/ Personal Care Aides to provide care to clients that reside in Rockland County & Orange County, NY.

We are actively seeking Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our exceptional team. - Provide personalized care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.

- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.

- Monitor and report changes in clients' health and behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.

- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and supportive relationship.

- Assist with medications as directed and maintain accurate records of care provided.

- Scheduling doctor's appointments if requested by the client

- Transport clients to medical appointments, errands, and social activities as needed.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Must have a valid PCA or HHA Certificate.

- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures

- Experience working with patients in hospice care, memory care, or those with developmental disabilities is a plus

- Ability to lift and move patients safely

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Must speak English fluently.

- Must have reliable transportation to commute to clients' homes.

- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are highly preferred.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality caregiving.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience using phone device to clock in an out for work shifts and assignments
